It seems that for many people, Lord of the Rings is their tragic tale whereby an invading force not only conquers, but in fact taints the very fabric of the society.

For me, my LOTR is MOTHER 3.

Undoubtedly much more quirky...

thanks to the Japanese.

And while LOTR ends with the heroes coming back to the shire

and realizing that the geist of evil forces has tainted everything, forever...

MOTHER's dragon renews the face of the earth.

(or at least, this is how it seems)
